Drift/Derivé (trailer interior recording booth)

The project Drift/Derivé was constructed for "Songlines" on the Magdalen Islands. For this aspect of the work visitors were invited into the trailer/sound booth to record stories about extreme weather or other experiences of the islands. The interior of the trailer is lined with seaweed stuffed quilts that act as sound baffling.
